Organising Roles
104 London Debaters meetings don't organise themselves.
We need YOU to help organise this TM Debating Club
Each Team needs 2 or 3 members - which one can you take?
Each of the roles below needs you to provide 60-90minutes of your time per meeting.
Note:
1) Some roles appear more than once - only one person is needed
2) Traditional TM committee roles are generated from these roles (rather than the other way round)
Technical Team - can you help with IT?
- Creating Publicity for each event (Powerpoint)
- Agenda Templates for different styles of meeting (Easyspeak)
- Zoom Manager and Zoom Polling
Publicity Team - can you motivate members?
- Creating Publicity for each event
- Publishing Publicity Internal - focus on Motion Topic
- Publishing Publicity External - focus on Debate speaking skills
Membership Team - can you entice and support new members?
- Responding to Visitor Email Enquiries
- Membership Forms (distributing and receiving)
- Treasurer (Receiving funds and sending them to TM USA)
- Support New Members into their Ice Breaker and Meeting roles(2-3 new members per month)
Development Team - can you develop members for the club's future?
Meeting Team - can you follow the 104 meeting roles?
- Proposing new Debate Topics for voting on (Debate Topics team)
- Finding members to be Debate Speakers (part of VP Education role)
- Finding members to take Meeting Roles (part of VP Education role)
- Sergeant at Arms
- Agenda Templates for different styles of meeting (Easyspeak)
